MicroSight® MSI is a new, efficient method for analyzing microsatellite instability with objective, unbiased results in less than 2 hours.
The method is based on high-resolution melt and runs on a single, low-cost instrument.
It offers an unbiased analysis of known loci – BAT 25, BAT26, NR22, NR24, and MONO27.
MicroSight® MSI can be used with both paired samples and a universal reference.
The workflow includes only four steps:
1. Add extracted genomic to DNA tubes
2. Spin down samples
3. Run the samples in the real-time PCR BaseCycler™
4. Automated analysis of the results
MicroSight® MSI relies on PentaBase’s proprietary INA® technology that enables highly sensitive detection of microsatellite instability status. Evaluation of MSI-H status is performed on the basis of differences in melt curves of probes binding to the amplified microsatellites.
