PentaBase was founded back in 2006. Everyone involved in the PentaBase have in average more than 10 years experience in the field. PentaBase has several proprietary products in the market for Real-Time PCR and a number of related Real-Time services. 

PentaBase has roots back to a discovery made in 1998 by the founder Ulf B. Christensen. In the light of this invention Ulf, together with two partners, founded the company Unest A/S. Unest was sold in 2004 to the Australian company Human Genetic Signatures Pty Ldt. After staying in Australia for some years, Ulf realized that he, with some changes to the first invention, could develop a technology that could be used on standard machines for detection of genetic material.
